HERBAL TEA

Völva, she who walks the liminal. She is a conduit connecting our realm to the realm of Spirit. She is plant wise and cunning, knowing old ways and old songs that have long been lost upon modern tongues. She offers glimpses into the unseen and holds counsel with the Norns. She has a message for you and a song for your Spirit, and it comes to you by way of Tea. Within this blend are herbs long known for their own spirits to commune with yours. Their herbal wisdom is steeped in ancient mysteries, and they will awaken the sleeping Völva within you. Their aromas will coax out your unique song and stories. Are you ready to hear them? Are you ready to see the unseen?

Witchcrafted with the intent to connect you to Spirit and the Völva within. Blended with the finest and freshest dried organic herbs of Mugwort, Rosemary, Fennel Seed, Peppermint, Celery Seed, Anise Seed, Elderflower, and Elderberry. Brew for a minimum of 10 minutes and enjoy up to 3 cups per session. DO NOT DRINK WHILE PREGNANT OR NURSING. Brewing should be done in a cup with loose herbs swirling around. It is perfectly ok to ingest some of the herbs. You will want to leave most of them in the cup if possible, for the final part of the ritual.

Mugwort, the key ingredient, is known to open the mind to visions and prophetic dreams. Rosemary strengthens the connection to the spirit world and is a key for remembrance, while Anise Seed and Fennel Seed provide clarity and insight. Celery Seed brings focus and concentration, aiding in the interpretation of signs and symbols. Peppermint awakens the senses and stimulates intuition, while Elderberry and Elderflower heighten psychic abilities and attune the mind to the unseen realms. All of these herbs are doorways into the realm of Spirit. It will open for you; all you must do is trust what you see and try not to altar it.

This tea is best worked with for occasions of divinations for Self or others that are close to you. As you brew the tea and watch the herbs float around in the hot water, inhale and allow the visions to begin. Listen to the whispers that come with the swirling steam, watch the tendrils unfurl into sights only your eyes must behold. This is no common interaction with tea, it is a ritual of foretelling and an interaction with Spirit. If you have a song you wish to sing to the herbs in the water, I would do this as the tea brews. I have a simple example listed below, but of course you can add your own unique song. My personal one is kept secret and yours should be as well.

Before your last sip of the tea, speak any vision requests into the cup. Swirl your tea clockwise, take your last sip being careful not to ingest the herbs and then turn the cup upside down on a plate or napkin. What do you see in the shapes? This will deepen your knowledge of what is to come. Trust what you see.
This tea also induces deep restful sleep bringing with it visions in the dream realm. It is here that your visions might be most profound. Keep a journal nearby and write down what you have seen in dreams. Dream recall also comes easily with this blend.
